Steven Hergott - Background and Experience "Your certifed Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Specialist, Mold Professional and HVAC Engineer"

Steve Hergott was born and raised in New York City. He graduated from the number one high school in the city - The Bronx High School of Science. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from CCNY in 1974, graduating summa cum laude. Then after a short employment for a consulting engineering firm he attended and graduated from Cornell University with a Masters Degree in Engineering.

Since 1980 Steve has worked in the HVAC industry in various roles - sales, engineering, estimating, owner, manager, consultant. He has attended numerious manufacturer training prgrams, too numerous to list. He is a Green Associate in the LEED program. Steve has been to Germany twice to tour manufacturing facilities and to learn from the best in the heating industry.

Stev has always had a special interest in Indoor Air Quality issues. When he was introduced to NORMI a number of years ago he instantly recognized the value of this relationship and the training it would provide. He has a number of NORMI certifications and attends NORMI training sessions up to 50 hours per year as part of a required continuing education program. 

He understand how to differentiate between "Sanitization" and "Remediation" so that you, the consumer, can be correctly directed toward the proper solution to your Indoor Air Quality issues.
